WizzTime Terminology

WizzTime Tracker :

  • Active Time: It is the time recorded by WizzTime while you are working on your computer.
  • Away Time: It is the time recorded by WizzTime when you are away from your computer i.e, your computer is idle.
  • Categorized Time Log: When you assign a task to a recorded time log, it is called Categorized Time Log.
  • Uncategorized Time Log: The time log which does not have any task assigned to it, called Uncategorized Time Log.
  • Est. Start Date: It stands for the estimated start date for the task. It is the date by which you are supposed to start work on the task.
  • Est. End Date: It stands for the estimated end date for the task. It is the date by which your work suppose to complete on the task.
  • Est. Hours: It stands for estimated hours of the task. It is the timeline given for the task by your project manager.
  • Actual Start Date: Date on which you have started working on a task.
  • Actual End Date: Date on which you have finished your task.
  • Worked Hours: Total active hours you spent on the task.

Manager Console : 

  • Away Time Threshold Value: This is the maximum allowed away time, in minutes, for the team member which still be considered as active time. When the team member’s away time exceeds this limit, then the WizzTime considers it as away time only.
  • Data Upload Interval: This is the time period, in minutes, at which recorded team member time logs will be uploaded to the WizzTime cloud.
  • Active Hours: It is the time the team member worked on a task, on the computer.
  • Away Hours: It is the time the team member worked on a task, away from the computer.
  • Uncategorized Hours: It is the time which the team member didn’t assign to any task.
  • Categorized hours: It is the time which the team member assigned to a task.
  • Worked Hours: The total time worked on the project by the resources assigned to the project.
  • Planned Progress: This is the progress of the project supposed to be achieved by this time, based on the task schedule.
  • Actual Progress: The current progress of the project, based on the completed task schedule.
  • Estimated Progress:  This is the progress of the project supposed to be achieved by this time, based on the task schedule.
  • Hours Awaiting For Approval: The total worked hours of the tasks which are waiting for approval.
  • Approved hours: The total worked hours of all approved tasks.
  • Assigned hours: The total of all estimated hours of tasks that are assigned to a team member.
  • Efficiency: This is the efficiency of the team member calculated by WizzTime based on the time the team member took to finish his assigned tasks.
  • Progress: This is the percentage of the tasks completed by the team member so far.
  • Overall status:
    • OnTime: If the team member completes his tasks in the given timelines, then the team member considered as OnTime.
    • Delayed – If the team member not able to complete his tasks in his the given timelines, then the team member considered as Delayed.
