Adding Tasks to the Project
WizzTime gives you two ways to add the Tasks to the Project. You can add them in bulk using either “Import MPP” feature or you can add one by one Task using the “Add Task” feature.

Adding multiple Tasks using bulk upload
This feature is useful for the Managers to add the Tasks in bulk to the Project. You can simply create a Microsoft Project file and import it under a specific Project. All Tasks will get added at a time to that Project.
To add the Tasks, first, you have to select a “Client” and a “Project” to whom you want to add the Tasks.
Click on the “Client” drop down and select a Client.

Once you have selected a Client, click on the “Project” drop down and select a specific Project.

To add the Tasks using bulk upload, click on “Import MPP” button, and it will ask you to select the MPP file you want to import. Choose your MPP file and click on “Open”. Now, the WizzTime starts the importing process.
Once the importing process completed, the Tasks imported from the MPP file will be shown in the Task list as below.

If you already added a Task using “Add Task” button, you can not import the Tasks using MPP file.
Adding a single Task
To add a single Task, click on “Add Task” button and the “Add Task” popup will be opened. Enter a “Task” under “Title” and select the Start Date and End Date for a Task.
WizzTime will automatically calculate the Estimated Hours based on the date range you have selected for a Task.
Fill the remaining details. You can add a description for a Task under “Notes” if any. Once you enter all the details and click on the “Add Task” button, the Task will be added to a Project.
