You can generate various flexible reports to find the time spent on each project or a task or a document by the Team Member between a selected date range
WizzTime gives you seven types of reports,
- Basic Duration Report
- Task Wise Duration Report
- Project Wise Hours Report
- Detail Activity Report
- Software Utilization Report
- Weekly Report
- Resource Allocation Report
Managers can apply various filters to the data recorded and export reports as per their needs. For instance, if you want to check the activities of a Team, you can get the “Detail Activity” report. Similarly, “Task Wise Duration” report highlighting the duration of each task.
All reports data can be exported into Excel, which helps you in further evaluation and presentation.
Generate Task Wise Duration Report
You can access this page by clicking on the “Task Wise Duration” icon under “Reports” section from the left side navigation bar.

This report gives the Active, Away and Uncategorised hours of each Team Member.
The “Active hours” of a Task is the time when the Team Member actually recorded for a Task on a computer.
The “Away hours” is the time the Team Member assigned to a Task when he is away from the computer.
The “Uncategorised hours” is the time which the Team Member didn’t assign to any Task.

You can select a Team Member by clicking on the “Team Member” dropdown and you will get Active, Away and Uncategorised hours spent by a Team Member on each Task.
You can select ‘All’ option to generate a report for all Team Members.

You can apply grouping to the data, to get the flexible report as per your needs.
See the example is shown below for applying a grouping based on the “Task Name”. What you have to do is drag the “Task Name” header and drop into the place as shown in the image below.

After you drop the header and grouped the data by the “Task Name”, the Report will look as shown below.

You can generate a report by applying grouping against multiple columns. Drag and drop headers “Team Member Name”, “Date” and “Project Name” and check the data sorted with the multiple levels of grouping.

You can select the date range by clicking on the “Calendar” icon shown at the top right corner of the card. Here, you have the option to see the data of today, last 7 days, a month or you can select a custom date range as per your needs.

If you want to check data between a specific date range, select a “Custom range” option from the drop-down. Select the dates you want and click on the “Apply” button.

You can export the report you have generated in excel file at any time. To do so, click on the “Export To Excel” button.
