When resources send tasks for your approvals, you can Approve or Reject the task from this page. As well as you can Re-Open the approved tasks if needed.
You can access this page by clicking on the “Task Approvals” icon from the left side navigation bar.

See the Tasks waiting for Approvals
You have to select a Client and a Project of the task you want to approve or reject, and which is waiting for your approval.

Click on the “Client” drop-down and select a client.

You will see the project list of a specific client, select a “Project” from the drop-down.

Once you select a Project you will get all the Tasks waiting for your approval.

Approve, Reject or Re-Open the Tasks under a specific Project
You can “Approve” or “Reject” a Task requested by the resource.

Approve a Single Task
If you want to approve a single task, check the checkbox of a specific task and click on the “Approve” button at the top right corner.
You will see the “Task Approval” popup where you can write the notes if any and click on the “OK” button.

Once you click on the “OK” button, you will see the success message and the task status will change from “Requested” to “Approved”.

Approve Multiple Tasks
If you want to approve multiple tasks, check the required checkboxes and click on the “Approve” button at the top right corner. WizzTime will ask you the confirmation.

Once you confirm the action, you will get a success message and all selected tasks will get approved.

Reject a single Task
If you want to reject a single task, check the checkbox of a specific task and click on the “Reject” button at the top right corner.
You will see the “Task Reject” popup. If you want, you can write the notes on why you are rejecting the task and click on the “OK” button.

Once you click on the “OK” button, you will see the success message and the task status will change from “Requested” to “Rejected”.

Reject Multiple Tasks
If you want to reject multiple tasks, check the required checkboxes and click on the “Reject” button at the top right corner. WizzTime will ask you the confirmation.

Once you confirm the action, you will get a success message and all selected tasks will get rejected.

You can not Reject an approved Task.

Re-Open a single Task
You can re-open only Approved Tasks.
If you want to re-open a single task, check the checkbox of a specific task and click on the “Re-Open” button at the top right corner. You will see the “Task Re-Open” popup where you can write the notes if any and click on the “OK” button.

Once you click on the “OK” button, you will see the success message and the task status will change from “Approved” to “Re-Opened”.

Re-Open Multiple Tasks
If you want to re-open multiple tasks, check the required checkboxes and click on the “Re-Open” button at the top right corner. You will see the “Task Re-Open” popup where you can write the notes if any and click on the “OK” button.

Once you confirm the action, you will see the “Task Re-Open” popup where you can write the notes if any and click on the “OK” button.

All Tasks status will change from “Approved” to “Re-Opened”.

You can not Re-Open a Task which is Submitted for approval.

Task History
You can see the history of all the actions performed on the specific task using this feature.
Click on the “History” icon as shown below and you can see the details of the task history like what action performed by which manager and on which date.

You can “Edit” the last action Notes if you are currently managing that project.
To edit, click on the “Edit” icon as shown below.

Once you click on the “Edit” icon, you will get the “Edit Task History” popup, where you can put your notes for the Task and click on the “Update” button.

You can see last Notes of a Task by hovering on the “Notes” icon.
