Account Registration
To register your WizzTime account, go to www.wizztime.com and click on the “SignUp” button.

You will be redirected to the registration page. Enter your first name, last name and email. Tick the checkbox to confirm that you are not a robot and click on the Register button.

Once the registration successful, WizzTime sends an account activation link to your email address you have used for the registration. Open your email and click on the activation link provided. Check your spam folder in case you didn’t receive this email to your inbox.

Once you click on the activation link to you will be redirected to your profile information page where you create your password and provide more information about you and your company.

Once you enter the above information, click on the Save button. Now, you have finished your registration process and you can log in into your account now.
Log into WizzTime
To login into WizzTime, go https://app.wizztime.com or click on

When you first-time login into WizzTime, you will be presented with WizzTime settings page where you can modify some of the impartant parameters of WizzTime.

You can leave the App Settings as it is for now and add your company Departments and Designation as per your requirement. These will be helpful when you are adding your users to WizzTime.

Adding Users to WizzTime
To add users to WizzTime, Click on User Management

In the trial version of WizzTime, you get 1 administrator/manager license and 3 user licenses. As
Once you are in the User Management page, click on Add button and an “Add User” form will be opened. Select the User as Role and enter the user information. Once you entered all the information click on the “Add” button.

By default when you add a user to the WizzTime, that account will be on hold. When the user is on hold, no license is consumed. To activate the user click on the Tick mark icon under

Now the user is activated.

Once the user is activated, the user gets an Invitation email with his login credentials. Now the user can install WizzTime Tracker start using WizzTime.

Installation of WizzTime Tracker
To download the WizzTime Tracker, go WizzTime website and scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Downloads” link or you can click this link, Downloads

Once you click on the “Downloads” link, you will be redirected to the Downloads page. Here you need to download the WizzTime Tracker that matches with your computer architecture. If your is a 64-bit computer, click on the “Download” button from 64 bit box and your Tracker installation setup will be downloaded.

After you downloaded the application, install it on the user computers where you want to track the user activity.
WizzTime Tracker
Once the WizzTime Tracker installed on the user computer, the user can start the Tracker. The WizzTime Tracker shows a login page where the user has to enter the email and password which he received from administrator through email.

After the login, the user will be presented with the Dashboard where he can see the complete overview of his activities, like, total worked hours, task status, software utilisation, today’s active and away hours etc.
You can minimise the Tracker or close it. When you close it the Tracker will stop running, rather it goes into System Tray and will be running in background. So, it won’t take your desktop space.
Once you login into the Tracker, the Tracker will remember your credentials so that next time when computer restarted, the application can login automatically. However, if you sign out from the Tracker, the saved credentials will be cleared and next time you need to enter the credentials. So better you don’t sign out from the Tracker. It will automatically get stopped when you are switching off your computer.

While the user working on his computer, the WizzTime Tracker will capturing the user activity and will be saving the captured data locally. The captured data will be uploaded to WizzTime server for every 30 minutes which is the default value and can be adjusted by the administrator in WizzTime Settings in Manager Console. The manager can see the user activity only after the data is uploaded to the WizzTime server.
If you want to upload the data immediately and don’t want to wait till next upload cycle, you can click on “Upload Now” button and the captured data will be uploaded immediately to the WizzTime server.

Manager Console – Viewing User Activity
Once the captured data is uploaded to the WizzTime server, the manager can see the user activity using the Manager Console application. The Dashboard shows the worked hours of all users.
