Assign the team to the project and start working on it. This module helps you to create a team for the project by adding and removing resources to it.
Project Assignment has following sections:
- Add Resources to the project
- Remove Resources from the project
You can access this page by clicking on the Project Assignment icon from the left side navigation bar.

You will be redirected to the Project Assignment page.

You can add any number of resources to a Project, similarly, you can add one resource to multiple Projects too.
Add Resources to the Project
You can add Team Members as well as Managers in the Project as Resources.
When you select a project, you can see the Project Manager is by default added in the resources list.

Add Team Member or Manager to the Project
Select a Client from Clients drop down and the projects under that Client will be displayed in the left panel.
Select a Project and click on the “Add Resource” button at the top right corner.

All Resources popup will be opened, and you will see all Active team members and managers list.

Select the resources and click on the “Add Resource” button.

The resources will get assigned to the project and you can see them as shown below.

Remove Team Member from Project
WizzTime will give you the facility to remove a Team Member from a specific Project, to whom you have added mistakenly.
To remove a Team Member, select a client from the “Client” drop-down and the projects under that Client will be displayed in the left panel.
Click on the Project from which you want to remove the Team Members. You will see the Team Members working on the project in the right side panel.
You have to tick the checkbox to select the Team Member and click on the “Remove Resource” button in the top right corner.

WizzTime will ask you to confirm the action.

Once you confirmed the action, Team Member gets removed from the resources list.
You cannot remove a Team Member from the project if he has worked hours recorded against any of Task under that project.
Once you remove a Team Member from the project, he will be unassigned from all the tasks assigned to him under that project.

Remove Manager from Project
WizzTime will give you the facility to remove a Manager from a specific Project, to whom you have added mistakenly or Manager no more working on the Project, or he left the company.
To remove a Manager, select a client from the “Client” drop-down and the projects under that Client will be displayed in the left panel.
Click on the Project from which you want to remove the Manager. You will see the resources working on the project in the right side panel.
You have to tick the checkbox to select the Manager and click on the “Remove Resource” button in the top right corner.
If the manager does not have any task assigned to him or a task created by him, then the WizzTime will directly ask you to confirm the action.

Once you confirm, a Manager will be removed from the Project.
If the Manager is managing any tasks from the project, instead of removing you have to replace that manager with another manager.

You need to select the new Manager from the manager drop-down and click on the “Submit” button.

Once you click on Submit, the Manager will get removed from the project.
Now onwards, all the tasks will be managed by the replaced manager.
